How We Authenticate
Every item sold through Handbag Social Club is authentic and backed by the knowledge of our specialists, from assessment of the general construction and craftsmanship to making sure the stitches per inch are consistent for the designer.
After this initial authentication process, our specialists utilize Real Authentication, a third party authentication technology, which examines every element yet again, from the inside out.
We believe that an exceptional customer experience is more than convenience and selection - it is an assurance of quality, craftsmanship and authenticity.
The HSC Grading Scale
To ensure that your order meets your expectations, we grade each item's condition after authentication is complete. A condition is added on each product page to accurately represent each item.
New: Item appears unused.
Excellent: Item is clean and shows minimal signs of wear.
Very Good: Item shows some wear and signs of previous use. May include lightly worn corners, creases in leather or tarnished hardware.
Good: Item shows moderate signs of prior use. May include surface scratches, slight darkening in handles, as well as, additional signs of wear.
